At the port & onboard

  • How can I find directions to the ferry port?

Please go to our Ferry Ports page and click on the port name that you’d like to find travel information for.

  • When do I need to check in?

Check in times vary from route and operator - all the information about your specific route can be found when you make your booking, and will be shown on your booking confirmation email. If you have pets with you, or require assistance at the port, then please allow for extra time. For any further queries about your book in time, please contact us.

  • Can I get on an earlier crossing?

Usually, the ticket that you purchase is only valid for the crossing that you have booked it for. Some ferry companies do allow you to change your crossing time, but this usually only happens if there are multiple ferry routes available per day. If you wish to change your ferry route, or wish to purchase a more flexible ticket, then please contact us.

  • What do I do if I’m late or likely to miss my crossing?

The best thing you can do is to call our telephone helpline, so we can help you to see if it is possible to change your ticket to a different sailing. If you are travelling when our telephone line is closed, then we recommend proceeding to the port and see if the ferry operator directly will change your ticket.
