Seatran Discovery

Seatran Discovery provides luxurious ferry links from Koh Samui to the Mu Koha Ang Thong area which includes Koh Tao, Koh Phangan and Donsak. Formerly known as Seatran Ferry, the new brand name was introduced in 2004 to reflect the improved passenger experience.

Originally conceptualised in 2002, the company’s aim was to provide an alternative choice of transport to Koh Samui, with better standards of safety and comfort while offering affordable ticket prices. Two years later, Seatran Discovery was born, giving current customers the chance to enjoy the stunning Thai islands aboard a more luxurious yacht. This new service was celebrated by both locals and tourists, making it one of the most popular operators in the area.

While there are now seven high-quality vessels in the Seatran Discovery fleet, the original yacht, built in 2004, carries up to 274 people, spanning over 34 metres long, boasting a fully air-conditioned cabin and outdoor seating areas with excellent viewpoints for the world famous backdrops of Thailand.

Direct Ferries provides a ferry timetable and price comparison, based on your search criteria, allowing you to compare Seatran Discovery products with multiple ferry company timetables and fares in one search.
