Northumberland Ferries now available with Direct Ferries

Northumberland Ferries or NFL, operates in eastern Canada and is now bookable with Direct Ferries.

NFL has operated the ferry service that carries the Trans-Canada Highway across the eastern part of the Northumberland Strait between Caribou, Nova Scotia and Wood Islands, Prince Edward Island since it was established in 1941 by the government of Canada.

The company has two large passenger ships, the MV Confederation and the MV Holiday which operates on the 75 minutes long route. Both ships has great facilities on board including cafes, restaurants and gift shops. You’ll also find an outdoor seating area which allows passengers to enjoy the fresh sea air and perhaps spot of some the local wildlife, including porpoises and seals.
