  • "Journey from Marseille to Ile Rousse "

Everything was ok. But it would be good to explain how to go to the ferry. Marseille is huge. And Google Maps didn't work so well. I didn't know I had to go to Gate 1. A small map would have helped a lot.

  • "Pleasant crossing on a comfortable boat"

Our experience of crossing from Marseille to Corsica and back on the Monte d'Oro was generally a very pleasant one - the cabins were comfortable and a nice temperature despite the heatwave, and we enjoyed a meal in the restaurant in both directions with friendly service. The crossing was smooth and we arrived refreshed after a good night's sleep. Our only problem as foot passengers was the bus transfer to the ferry on the way out - we were packed in like a cattle truck and it was a long hot jolting ride to the ferry itself, giving me problems with my bad back as I didn't get a seat and had to keep my luggage upright; then the lifts could only get 2 or 3 people at a time up to the main deck. However, I would use this ferry again.
