Ferry to Stavanger reviews

  • "Highly recommend."

I did not tour the entire ship however I was favorably impressed with the Reception Deck. I did not expect Bingo or live entertainment. I did not use the cafeteria or bar. I thought the deck was attractively decorated and the restroom very clean. My only complaint is the chairs in one area were hard and uncomfortable so I moved to another area.

  • "A relaxing way to travel "

We booked this journey on-line and looked forward to simple arrival in the port of Stavanger. Firstly the embarkation was chaotic, too many people herded into a crowded corner with no air conditioning. There were unclear directions given, leaving the long queue confused as to who should go forward first, the German group or the others??? The journey itself was good and we enjoyed the scenery. As we tried to disembark we were asked to show our 'boarding cards'?? No one told us we would need them to disembark and my husband couldn't find his. I think the clue is in the name, 'boarding cards'. If you require passengers to show them when disembarking, please advise them in advance! We had not been informed that the Quay was 17 kms from Stavanger centre or that we should purchase tickets for a bus to get there!!!!! The ONE bus that came was then too full to take the 2 of us and other passengers. We were told by the person at the Fjordline information desk, we would have to get a taxi. Why was there only 1 bus for 60 people? 8 of us had to resort to paying for a taxi. This was a stressful experience and costly and we feel Fjordline should recompense us 520 NOK, the cost of our taxi.

  • "Good trip"

It’s been a good trip. Big ship with facilities and activities during the way. Nice and helpful staff. A little bit crowded at the bar in front of the ship coz of the best front view is here.
