"Tragedy for loyal staff"
The staff were excellent and professional. Many I noticed went the extra mile and the captain on both ships great communicators. Tragically they may have list their jobs through the greed of the ships owners. I certainly do not plan to travel with p&o if at all possible for future journeys. Better to pay a little more and have staff appreciated. A sad day

"Economical"
Opted to travel as a foot passenger as P&O didn't double their prices, unlike StenaLine, for the Irish mid-term break. Was collected by a courtesy bus & driven onto the ship. Staff were very helpful, good humoured & attentive, even though they were understaffed. I'd recommend travelling with this company.

"Adversity "
Despite the awful conditions the ship sailed. This was due to the recent storms. The crossing was smooth, staff helpful and the food was lovely. I would recommend this crossing all the time.

"Last min booking "
Outgoing & return, every encounter with a member of staff was first class. Polite, professional, booking agent on counter, two G4s staff, catering manager…I will stop there, this was a humble, respectful crew, regardless of their position.

"First impressions matter"
Check in a Cairnryan started with a warm welcome at reception and throughout the staff and crew were friendly helpful and efficient. Outward winds were gusting 50mph but comfortable and no drama.

"There and back again"
The weather was fair and kind both ways and the ship tidy in all departments. The barman took instruction well on the proper way to pour a pint of Guinness on the way to Larne. upon return 10 days later, I asked him if he remembered, he said he did , whereupon he poured a lovely creamy pint in the time honoured manner as taut in the Dublin brewery. All was well.

"Staff are Fantatic"
The staff were amazing, went out of there way to be helpful, especially the Spanish Gentleman and Costa Coffee. He went out of his way to help people that were very sick because the crossing was choppy. He was first class and he makes a mean Frapachino

"Always a great experience on P&O"
We always enjoy taking the ferry to and from Northern Ireland and Scotland and never have a bad experience. We always book through Direct Ferries as their prices are good, staff communication, and email updates are brilliant and comforting. The staff on board the ship are attentive and friendly, including catering, car deck staff, and checking in staff too. Especially in times of Covid-19, we're grateful for the cool, calm, and collected atmosphere that all staff involved with the ferry check in, and traveling, create for everyone on board :) Thaaaaanks

"P&O ... simply the best."
I travelled to from Cairnryan to Larne to bring my 91 year old father to stay with us for Christmas. We all travelled from Larne back to Cairnryan. My Dad has a blue badge and this let the P&O staff know that he needed assistance. The staff were so compassionate, kind and helpful. We did the same journey after Christmas to get my Dad back home. Again the service was amazing. The ship was well wiped and cleaned in accordance with Covid regulations. The journey port to port is exactly 2 hours in duration. Definitely the fastest operator. I travel this route often to visit my Dad: I would not consider using any other operator.

"Christmas trip to N. Ireland"
This was a first class trip to NI via the Cairnryan/Larne service onboard European Causeway. As ever, P & O were very well organised; staff onboard were excellent and it was so good to see that a member of the staff took time to go round the accomodation spaces enforcing the mask wearing legal requirement. Funny how some people, even after all this time, still fail to do the right thing and wear their mask. I was so pleased to hear the Captain make a main broadcast to remind individuals that this is a lawful requirement. Catering onboard is now so much better with friendly and informed staff there to assist. Arrival and disembarkation in Larne was hassle free and I give P & O a 10/10 for this service.
