Trasmapi

With more ships, more crossings and, of course, more customers, Trasmapi is the leading company in passenger transportation between the Balearic Islands of Ibiza and Formentera.

Trasmapi has more than 40 years’ experience in this sector, and is considered a pioneer in ferry travel within the region, transporting roughly a million passengers each year. Also, with a modern and large fleet of 9 ferries, Trasmapi is able to offer you a choice of up to 8 daily trips between the Pityusic Islands with an increased frequency of more than 20 per day in summer season. These ferries can carry between 250 and 450 passengers, with some of them able to carry vehicles, too.

The Trasmapi ferries travel the 17 kilometre trip from Ibiza port, on the south side of the island, to La Savina port, in Formentera’s north. The ships transport you between the islands in air-conditioned comfort and feature indoor seating as well as deck access if you’re looking to top up your tan.

With directferries.com.au you can find Trasmapi timetables, fares and book Trasmapi ferry tickets. Where applicable we’ll also compare Trasmapi with alternative ferry companies.

Trasmapi Customer Reviews

  • "Straightforward, comfortable trip to Formentera"

A little bit difficult to find the road to the Formentera ferry at Ibiza town but otherwise boarding with car was easy and well-organised. Beautiful view of Ibiza Town as ship left harbour. Ship left and arrived on time - journey is only 45 minutes. Can't comment on catering as didn't have anything; there's a small bar onboard. Probably advisable to book ahead at peak times.
