Spacious well equipped ship but very large, meaning unloading and loading took forever and it sailed an hour late

"Port of Calais"
Beware! We arrived at Calais an hour before our sailing as requested and most probably through poor signage we ended up (along with about 12 other cars) in the lorry queue for Irish Ferries. Only after 15 minutes was it pointed out that check in booth for cars was open . The slowness of border checks due to Brexit meant we missed our booked crossing. Irish Ferries put us on the next ferry at no extra cost. Ship clean, staff friendly, food good if a little expensive.

"Good experience in general "
It was not overcrowded, plenty of space to have a good journey. Irish ferry staff on the check-in and on board was fine. My only negative feedback is going for that many of the seats has stains and makes it very tricky to find a clean seat for seating. Old stains which can be easily clean up with the new technologies.

"Irish Ferries great - Direct Ferries very poor "
Booked an Irish Ferries crossing from Dover to Calais with Direct Ferries. Needed to change my vehicle details but Direct Ferries wanted to charge me £65. Sent an email to them querying this when Irish Ferries website said they made no charge for such a change, but Direct Ferries never replied despite acknowledging receipt of my email and continued to show my previous vehicle on the booking. In the end, I rang Irish Ferries and they changed my vehicle details on their records free of charge. Very impressed with Irish Ferries overall, including staff at the ports and cleanliness etc of the ferry, but will certainly not be using Direct Ferries again.

"A windy but pleasant night"
Thanks to all the staff and fine crew of the Irish ferry 'Innisfree". You handled the weather really well especially the return to port at Dover which was quite tricky involving the tug boat. Very impressive what you guys do everyday. Thanks to the barman who served me a coffee in quite difficult circumstances and reminded us all to get to our cars. One thing I would say it would be nice if you had a small selection of cigars and more regional produce of France or Ireland on the ferry. I picked up some things and was impressed with the service, cleanliness and order on board. Oh, an Irish or French newspaper would not go amiss.

"Fantastic service"
I arrived early. The booking in Lady was extremely helpful and was able to change my booking. What a lovely smile. From there on it was a magical trip, very helpful staff throughout and only too pleased to help. Se Eastern European persons did not know how to behave. But, in all extremely good service
