Onboard you will find an international food court, bar and cafe, discounted shopping, a brasserie, games room, family lounge, bureau de change, free WiFi, an ATM machine, an exclusive club lounge and much more.

With a choice of bars and restaurants there really is something for everyone onboard the Spirit of France to suit all tastes and pockets. If you are travelling with the family then head to the Food Court, serving exciting cuisine from around the world - the place for a tasty curry as well as freshly prepared traditional British fare, like fish and chips! The onboard coffee shops serve a selection of light snacks and pastries - plus a wide range of hot and cold drinks, including the famous Costa Coffee.
Check out the Bar for a fun and lively atmosphere and a perfect place to socialise whilst enjoying a drink. Those travelling with children may prefer the family lounge which features comfortable seating with a bar, light snacks, tea, coffee and soft drinks on offer.

The onboard shop also stocks the latest in travel entertainment aimed at making your journey more comfortable, including the latest best-selling novels, toys and games for the whole family.
There's a variety of activities onboard for children including play areas and quieter spots for watching videos. During the summer holidays when many people take their family breaks, you will find children's entertainers onboard with specially trained staff to encourage creativity with some supervised painting or drawing, allowing parents time to sit and enjoy their own space.

Staff were very friendly considering how busy it was when we travelled due to change in government guidelines for christmas. Felt very safe while on the boat and the boat was clean to a very good standard.

Very impressive service Even in this tough COVID-19 times

Whilst I understand the problems with mass catering and pre preparation of food. The pizza was an absolute disgrace; the area which had topping on it was only about 1/2 of the circumference of the pizza but the quantity of tomato paste was so sparse that it was sufficient only for about 1/4 of the pizza, not only that, but neither was the cheese as sufficient quantity as that, nor was it remotely recognisable as cheese whether by sight, taste or even from the list of ingredients. The base itself was like leather, so basically the entire pizza was inedible and a complete waste of money, perhaps the box it came in might have tastier.

At this time chaotic time with the world battling against Coronovirus, and after our dash from Spain, towing a caravan, we found the ferry to be a peaceful haven, with a hot meal and free tea and coffee. A very welcome break from driving, and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Well done to you all.

"Friendly and helpful staff and spacious clean room."
Recently travelled with P & O Ferries Calais to Dover and then return on New Year's Day. We opted to go into the Club Lounge. on both trips the organisation of the staff boarding and unloading was excellent. The Club Lounge and the staff there were also excellent, attentive and the area was clean and quiet. The food was good though one or two items on the menu were not available on the return trip.
